This has been discussed to death, Cyrillic isn't good for Polish at all and would require several extra letters just like Latin does with diacritics.
And practical reasons aside, we used the Latin script for a millenium so what the fuck do you think, that we're gonna dump our entire history into the trash? Roman Latin culture is one of our defining features, just like Byzantine is yours. It's unchangeable.
Plus the general tendency is that Cyrillic countries switch to Latin, not the other way around.

dude, these are not real jobs that require Ukrainian, this just what employers do when they want to employ a Ukrainian person instead of a Polish person (Ukrainians don't know their rights, won't complain about working conditions and will just agree for a lower pay) but they cannot just write "I only hire Ukrainians" because it would be discriminatory and they could be punished, so they just write "obligatory requirement: C2 knowledge of Ukrainian" even if it's a job like a supermarket cashier or assembly line worker where you don't need any foreign language.

we wouldn't give 500 years of our literary history with rich rennaissance or baroque literature just for "looking better"
obviously nations that were basically created in 19th century mostly from illiterate peasants, with close-to-zero literature before, could make up whatever alphabet they wanted, but for us, with continuous literary traditions from the middle ages, it would be ridiculous, we couldn't read our 16th century books
