Doner > Gyros > Shawrma.

Most shawarma is dry. Gyros in the US don't have fries in them but rather served on the side.

turks kill me whenever i express this opinion but after trying gyros and shawarma, i really think that our döner is the worst. shawarma is slightly better but too similar. gyros is so much better because the meat quality is higher and they add those interesting greek ingredients, it's not bland like döner
