if you don't have AC you should freeze something (a big water bottle for example) wrap it in towel and keep it touching your body to help cool off
preferably you should have 2 of 1.5 liter water bottles that you keep on rotation between the freezer and wrapped in towel next to you and change them when the one you have melts
i have invented this tech myself and i call it ice bottle rotation
