Is Scotland (& Wales) the best part of the UK? It seems way less overrun with Pakis, cramped and industrial.

It’s very much industrial in the important areas and often once was in the quieter areas too. Most places in these countries are unaffordable or unrealistic for most to live there due to lack of employment opportunities. Any time you see a nice looking small village or town, it’s either ludicrously expensive to live there or actually a dilapidated shithole which has been suffering for years as younger generations move away for work. Any place with work or things to do will usually have browns living in them, wherever you go.

Tbqh that’s a nice piece of wisdom that characterizes every European country, including this one.

HOWEVER, Glasgow and Edinburgh seem nicer than Leeds or Manchester or whatever and they are no more expensive. At least me as bystander would rather live there.
