Can we all admit once and for all that France is the protagonist of not only Europe but the world?

I honestly agree. The uk is the main antagonist. The us is a supporting coming relief character.

I honestly think France is a major character, but I don't think there's a single main character.

To me France has the same MC level as china, India, Japan, Mexico, USA, Brazil, Nigeria, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain, Arabia, Turkey, Israel, Iran, Egypt.

Cute kot.
Spain and Italy are recurrent supporting characters. Nice talkative fellows overall.
Portugal is that guy you see in some seasons but forgot the name.
Greece used to be a very important character but it died after the first arc.
Germany is an evil antagonist. Not as main as the UK that is always there to subvert, but very annoying.

Forgot 2.
Russia is a also a main character. It's that tough guy that drinks too much and splutters on people. Suicidal odd guy.
Turkey is a very irrelevant bad character. Like the plumber scammer that steals shit at the the MC's place episode 5.

No you wouldn't have. The French army was at the brink of mutiny, they were disobeying orders and in some cases refusing to fight, they were spread too thin just like the brits. The Brits were at the brink of economic collapse and the Entente's official human meat shield known as Italians were only buying you guys time. We can't forget that the Germans were getting an influx of soldiers from the east after Russia imploded. Germans were exhausted as well, but they were far more determined than you guys. If America didn't join the war and brought it's money, weapons, manpower and most importantly the morale boost of hearing that the US joined the war against Germany you guys would've definitely lost, this is not even up for debate.
