I wanted to like Michigan but small town Michiganders are all fucking schizos. Nowhere else in the Midwest has as many mentally ill weirdos and I don't know why. Ohioans are annoying assholes but I'd take them over non-big city Michiganders any day but that's the problem -- the big cities in Michigan all blow. Wisconsin is the superior forested midwestern state.

Not anymore no (at least not officially, some nationalists still go VGHH muh map painting fantasies), there was a period from independence to the 70s where there was a border beef and there was even a brief war in 1963, but borders were mutually recognized later.
The beef now is around Western Sahara, which Morocco claims while Algeria supports the independence of (but doesn't claim).
