The European Union (EU) is a significant trading partner with the United States, and a major importer of American goods. Key imports from the U.S. to the EU include mineral fuels, machinery, pharmaceutical products, and medical/technical equipment. In 2024, the EU was the biggest trading partner bloc for the U.S., with trade reaching nearly $1 trillion.

Right?
Haha noooo I don't want everyone to live in a little town and trade locally with low fees and taxes.
OH NO what if Europe pays for their own military protection and stops (((respecting))) my country like they definitely did until just now.
Aaaaaaaa please don't make the USD no longer the world currency I would hate it if my government were forced to start honoring its gay economic theory debts.
If things had to be produced domestically and people could find jobs reliably, but they were somewhat more expensive, that would be horrible. After all when they said stop rampant wasteful consumerism they didn't mean LIKE THAT.
Please don't make me value my things and patch my clothes!
I can't live without cosmopolitan vibes!
Please pleeeeeaaaase Europe don't become self sufficient and straight I just can't bear it!

They are indeed a net exporter of oil, but it’s very unsustainable and all their oil is shitty shale. They’re projected to run out by the next decade. Meanwhile Saudis hold enough high-quality oil enough for the next generation and their wells are right by a large shipping lane.

Trump was already president and none of that shit happened. He's getting richer and you're staying stupid.

He's fucking over manufacturing more than anything, since not only do they have to worry about retaliatory tariffs, Trump is tariffing inputs. And slashing research and development. And causing massive uncertainty to stifle even private investors.
https://cepr.net/publications/manufacturing-openings-lowest-since-the-pandemic/
Not that these were ever good jobs to begin with, not since chuds gutted the unions.

nigga we produce everything
The reason nothing stands out is because we produce so much of so many things
All of the jobs and industries that "went overseas" started here
Half of the raw and refined materials we import we only do so because of the currency market making it cheap or our environmental and safety regulations and various zoning and labor laws get in the way.
I know you're probably tired of big countries like US, China, Russia, Brazil saying they have EVERY climate and resource and industry but it's pretty true.
For instance, there was this headline about our so y farmers having trouble because the Chinese weren't buying all of it due to tariffs/to make a point. But we don't necessarily have a lot of dedicated so y farmers, we have corn farmers planting so w as their second crop after the corn is harvested.
Likewise, China can be a mess because of corruption and distribution/planning problems but I guarantee you they wouldn't go short on so y for long if they had to grow it all themselves

We're the largest importer because we are very wealthy and have a great economy that allows us to buy from people all over the world, including lots of raw materials that we can use to make even more goods and services

Until chuds came to power and took a shit on that because "trannies"
