It's the 13th July and we are on our THIRD FUCKING HEATWAVE of the year. I am buying a dozen pots of yoghurt tomorrow to try this out, I am fucking sick of this shit.
It's 82 F and 64% humidty right now and I just have a little desk fan going. How did europeans survive before electricity when they had to wear three piece suits each and every day?

Europeans' inferior window design means they can't use cheap window mounted units. They're stuck with the ground mounted units with tubes (that don't work) or drilling holes in the wall for a minisplit.

They don't they just buy an A/C? It's only a few thousand, and their home values would probably double by being one of the twelve with A/Cs in their cities.

Carbon emissions license. Air Conditioners are not compatible with the UK's Paris Climate Agreement commitments. To install an AC you need to be able to demonstrate that the unit will not contribute to increasing greenhouse gas emissions.
