How do you cope with all the rampant hate and racism? Why not just return to India and live like a king in a gated community with all the money you've earned in the USA? Seems more logical and dignified.

Saar, Indians were literally sent to places like Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Fiji, South Africa, Trinidad to build railroad and infrastructure as "coolies" (basically a slave but since Britain on paper was kanging about abolishing slavery they coped around it legally). Places where the native populations were hostile and in many cases savage, causing violence due to being disturbed that Indians were setting up their villages and farms as the descendents of coolie labour started settling. Didn't stop them.

There are still 2 Indian settler states in Africa (Mauritius & Seychelles) while there's no Rhodesia.
