EAST texas is terrible
West Texas is heroism. We didn't want to be part of Texas we were part of New Mexico both under Spain and New Mexico but Texas was able to make the feds give them el paso. Look up the shenanigans that went into creating texa's modern state border it's so fucked up. El Paso is safer and more SOVL than any Texan city.
