I find Orcas very interesting. The alpha killing machine of the ocean that strikes fear into the heart of a great white shark and toys and torments its prey routinely, but there's no recorded killing of a human? To me that means there's some kind of impressive intelligence or guile there, maybe even oral history. Even if they are doing it they're doing it in very isolated, hidden ways, deliberately.

No. They can never progress as far as humans because they have no hands, so that means an inability to build complex tools, and they live under the sea, so without land-based advantages like fire and accessible materials, they can't develop complex technology

orcas are whale killers, sperm whale dislike orcas very much and messes with orcas hunting, sometimes body blocking orcas from their prey, there are recorded instance of a sperm whale defending a helpless seal for hours
orcas might be your funny predator of the oceans but they are quite cruel can be very psychotic, humans give them a pass but only whales know how terrible they really are, there are no instance of blue whale or sperm whale killing humans either, and they can easily with a swipe of their fins since they have so much barnacles on them

>you just don't know about it because as they are humble like that
It's physically impossible for them to due so, their lungs would get crushed long before they'd reach there

That's exactly why they are interesting though. Orcas are crazy, predatory, smart, plain mean in many cases. And yet they know to avoid humans. That's striking stuff. The other whales are nice in general so we wouldn't expect them to attack a human but Orcas you'd think would attack one regularly.

they are too smart for the food they each, which is mostly fish, they get bored so they start doing weird things, it's natural, they have few predators and since they are only aquatic there is no where for them to go, it's a depressing existence, once a while you might get a dolphin or orca too smart for their own good, venture too close to humans and get killed, such is life

orcas are also very eusocial and matriarchic, so they are not like sharks, they are roamers and don't have a territory to defend, they also have very advanced emotional processors, long memory and such, humans are very body compared to the other foods they eat, there might be a passing of oral knowledge but they can also see that a human is very body, it mean it's not like they can chew very well either, also orcas's diet is 95% fish, when they hunt seals or penguins they do it cuz they are bored or some bonding thing
