Japan & Korea would be literally paradises if not for the need to waste your life working 467382 hours a day.

Look at the size of Korea's territory and geographical location.
The only resources we have are rice and water.
We have to work several times harder than others to survive.

An unimaginably long time ago, the Gods deceide that human life must contain suffering. You cannot have all the good things. If you got the just beautiful women, you need to take some very unpleasing other things.

They are doing that to Korea via the NW Project and to Japan via the southern Ryukyuan Tributary, paving the way for future claims to the regions to take it over similar to how they made claims to Taiwan.

In China's demented mindset, they aren't being imperialist because these lands always belonged to them via their specious reasoning.

No idea, but the Chinese have the most advanced mining industry in the world right now. They've automating and electrifying as much of it as possible.
Manual slave labor is becoming obsolete. This will also open up new mining operations that were previously uneconomical when labor costs were factored in.

Automated mining is still king in the west. China's only reason why they control these resources is that they are willing to destroy their ecology and poison their workers in order to PROCESS and REFINE these minerals.

The US has more natural resources than China but we aren't stupid enough to destroy nature to process it.

Are you sure? The west hasn't done lower value chain stuff like that in so long the skill and knowledge are in very low supply. And the operations we do have are small and antiquated. At least from what I've heard. It would take years if not decades to build up the mining industry and then the refining and processing. The latter of which China does have the state of the art tech in. They're practically the only supplier for the entire world. Sure it's because they don't care about the ecology damage, but doesn't change the fact they're the only ones doing it, and they have the most knowhow and experience.

Chang, you chinese aren't the only ones who fuck up their environment and workers. Its also done in Africa and South America too. As for tech, and mining in general, look into Australia's mining industry, they have some of the best trained and experienced people and top notch equipment. Then look up into Canada and Alaska and who supplies their gear and equipment. You have no idea how much mining happens in the west.

In Japan's case, it started after WW2 when the empire was dissolved and the military gutted. Japs needed something to divert their loyalty and dedication to, and that was their work/employers. Koreans do it because they copy everything Japs do.

Australian ore just ends up in China to be processed and refined anyways.
Chinese are automating and electrifying the trucks that carry the ore. The mines in Alaska are paying each one of those truck drivers over $100,000 a year.

Right, thats what I said, most of it get PROCESSED in China cause you guys don't care about the environment and your people. Its still mined by non-chinese and they do it well. There are many companies that make electric and intelligent mining machines. Caterpillar, Liebher, Hyundai, Volvo, Komatsu, etc have them or are working on them. China isn't special or unique in this regard. Also, China pays a lot of influencers for positive outcomes so I take everything on social related to china with a huge grain of salt.

Cat has fully autonomous mining trucks in western australia and canada.
