The novel for Welcome to the NHK begins with talking about people blaming jews for things because it makes them feel at ease with the rage they have towards themselves. Why blame yourself when you can blame jews.
We dont have many jews in my country. I never think about them. It was illegal to be jewish in my country until 1850 (they were forbidden entry) so i am not surprised there are not many jews here now. The few I have met were very nice people and not really religious, like most people in my country.
