They're willing to be the cheap labor that undercuts local workers, and companies really want to believe they can have their cake and eat it too and end up hiring people less qualified than they thought.

The hiring process got fucked to such a degree that anybody with enough balls to lie to someone's face can get a job. They feel no remorse about it like normal people would. It's borderline psychopathic. Self-accountability just doesn't exist in Indian culture.
