Piece of shit country full of opportunistic, dishonest & shameless scumbags. Went to Istanbul with my girlfriend at the time for a week long vacation and I hated every minute of it.
>1st day, like an hour after arrival
Fought a taxi driver trying to scam me
>2nd day
Fought a motorcycle driver who hit me with his bike while we were on the sidewalk. Not only that, shameless cocksucker expected an apology from me cause I reflexively yelled FUCK when he hit me lmao.
>3rd day
Fought a guy who was hitting on my gf and his 5 butt-buddies.
>4th day
We met a couple of people who we thought were nice at the time and spent the night outside with them. It was decent.
The next day one of the guys sent me a message on instagram telling me that he was in need and asked for 50 euros lmao. I declined.
The day after that another guy started messaging me asking me if I could sponsor him for a job in the Netherlands. This one was incredibly pushy, so I muted him after telling him no 3 times. I checked the convo a week later while I was home to see the most vile shit written by a "human being" ever.
Going there for a week changed my perception towards the ones living here as well. Fuck these people and send them all back.
