Germans are alright. Their immigration and intermingling in the USA in the 1800s is responsible for our hard work ethics--I can't think of a harder working people than the Germans.

we seem to get a lot of german tourists. I remember specifically learning myself to say "spricht du englisch?" working at a store because there were so many german boomers visiting for summer (they still do). They seem to be the only nationality that bothers to visit norway. Our visits being conducted by germans seem to be the best outcome however so long as it's not between 1939-1945 so it's not bad. Imagine if we got british holiday goers.

We dont have american tourists but (normie, not autistic /int/cel freak) americans online are very kind to me atleast so it's strange as you say since I've observed american culture shares a lot with british culture. I imagine it might be because your culture descends from various european countries sense of courtesy before the modern age and that your independence from the anglo-sphere isolated you from the evolution that gave rise to chavs, who, try to act as subhuman as possible.

I have actually met the occassional czech and they seem friendly. I havent spoken to any dutch tourists but I do see their license plates on cars a lot. But I always figured that was some kind of loophole people were taking advantage of where dutch cars are cheaper. Do tell me if Im wrong, IDK

Growing up Germany used to be seen as this white übermensch country with large homes, expensive cars, punctual trains, pretty streets, etc. nowadays I dont know it is like they are intentionally trying to sabotage and destroy their country desu it is pretty said because other than Germany every other Western European country feels completely foreign
