Atheism isn't a thing, you can never truly reject the supernatural, you can barely ignore it, human beings are pretty irrational

The problem with atheism from a purely philosophical point of view, is that it claims to not be a belief in anything, but it is actually the belief that any higher power definitively does not exist. The problematic part is that they then go on to claim that agnostics are one and the same, and that atheism is not gnosticism, which is just bizarre (and false). To definitively claim that a higher power does not exist, is the same as religious people saying that a higher power does exist.
