This country creates ridiculously high amount of content for its size.
I mean it has over 120 million people which is huge but still the amount of shit they put out is insane.
They alone made 60% of all animation in the world. On top of that they have infinite amount of manga, video games, visual novels, regular novels, light novels, music, porn and live action stuff. When you actually dive into untranslated stuff you realize that Japanese are by far the most profilic in the world. Nobody comes close. Qualily is debatable

i mean not a weeb but its not really debateable. its easy to see how people become japanophiles when theyre one of the only countries with a full fledged animation, movie, video game, book/comic industry which many countries like turkey or germany wish they could have

the japanese society has a need for quality and diverse entertainment to keep social cohesion because they work themselves to death to compete with China and the USA, since the USA imposed by force the Plaza Accord which made the japanese yen really expensive destroying their competitiveness

it's also good for cultural preservation. hollywood became bollywood and every american movie is pushing some bullshit political message so someone had to pick up the slack.

Yeah, there are lots of countries of similar or larger populations that I can't name a single piece of media or famous person from. Indonesia for example, they just have the gay rapist and that annoying faggot who drinks spicy shit

Cameras in this era take a long time to take a photo, yet the best moments is captured. In other words, they created this situation on purpose, just like Instagrammers.

If you combine all animes and run them at Western frame rates, it would only be a few hours long at most.

Your understanding of camera technology is incorrect. Cameras in 1945 didn't take as long to capture a moment.

This famous historic photo was taken in 1936. Do you think the man in the picture stood still for a long time in that position?

Are you being sarcastic, Takeshi?
At least I am old enough to have experience using good old film cameras. When I was kid, there weren't digital cameras. And even after they came out, it took many years till the digital cameras got useful enough compared to film cameras.

Chill and have some coffee.

Pics related are Rober Capa's famous photos(US troops’ first assault on Omaha Beach during the D-Day landings. Normandy, France. June 6, 1944).
