I don't really care what foreigners think about our country.
Having lived in 5 other countries, I do believe that overall, America is still the greatest country on earth.
We still have our problems, but the only countries I would argue are competitive are Switzerland, Japan, or Singapore.

If they praise, I put a genuine smile and be personable so the other person leaves having had a pleasant conversation. If they speak bad, I'll hear them out. If the reasoning is stupid, I give them the zoomer stare.
I try to be civil and polite, others' opinion of things dont really matter much to me either way.

Whenever I see non-Germans talking about Germany it's clear they have absolutely no idea about this country and have had only very few interactions and experiences that don't really reflect my experience of this country. I don't really care either way for this reason and also try in turn not to pass judgement on other countries because I'd be just as ignorant.
