an american who makes $50k has a better life than an average europoor surgeon because of taxes, cost of living, and muh egalitarianism (which means shit salaries despite the profession).

Completely incorrect. Average American making 100k has a worse life than the lazy western euro countries that make 25k a year (looking at you Spain and Italy). There's no balance with life in US, safety is laughably low, home ownership is low, and healthcare lol.

having lived on both sides of the ocean for quite a while, i can tell you the objective purchasing power, not personal preferences. if i were a europoor given the choice to immigrate to the us, i can see why i might still stay in europe even though strictly financially speaking it would be a dumb decision.

glad you're in norway because when i was there, salaries were public information (not sure about now) and after accounting for taxes and cost of living, the salary of a 62-year-old highly experienced norwegian offshore logging engineer in the north sea working for conocophillips was the equivalent of a fresh graduate local trainee in saudi arabia chilling in the office. note that our salaries are relatively modest compared to the us, and locals donโ€™t get rich from their salary here.

Moved here from Argentina in 2015:) So my excuse is I'm a first gen immigrant. I've infinitely more potential but I value my work-life balance; I work 37.5 hours and get paid for 40.

think about that for a second, why would a country need to import people for an incredibly popular and high demand position. immigration is supposed to fill in the cracks left behind by a progressing culture.

Top kek. Is that not a bit strange to you that a medium sized company would hire the department that the majority of people, even dumb women are qualified for? Not a bit odd that your job is 90% make work and dominated by women (who are essentially subsidized in the white collar world, they rarely are net positive). Not a bit curious that the job you're working is one of the most sensitive roles regarding culture and communication and they hire a foreigner. You're not incredibly bright I think sir, still congrats on easy street.

The business I work for is minority ran hailing from an Asian country. The workforce was (before i started hiring aggressively) primarily asian. But yes, they hired me for my ethnicity.

Safety is the only true part here because of all the nonwhites. If you are making $100k+ you can afford a house in most places except the big cities filled with libtards and thirdies. Healthcare is common with those jobs too. ICE will fix things

I mean if they are White it would mean easy path to go through schooling and get a good job if they want to pursue that path. I had no connections like that, just did well in school and make good money and benefits now.
