No, zero. I only miss 2000-2010 era because it was Turkey's and West's most productive and colorful era. I only wish I was a teenager/young adult in that era instead of a kid and early teenager. If I was born in 87 or 88 it would be really good. I don't wan't anything about today and i don't feel like missing anything. Smartphones, social media, dating apps, short videos, streaming services and widescreen video format, highspeed internet fucked up everything. This era is borig as fuck and not fun.

Yes, but I started taking steps to change the situation. The first and most important one was to quit my soul-crushing job.

I'd say 1996-2007 was the best era to live in, at least in Finland. this era we currently live in is shit and rapidly going even more downhill.

you can ignore 99% of these things and be fine. A smartphone is essential these days for communication and banking and whatnot, yes, but you can choose to only use it for essential things and not consume slop. it's up to you how you engage with tech. I personally don't use youtube all that differently from how i used it 15 years ago for example.

We living in a society. It's not just about you. We can't change mainstream by our own.
For example website interfaces, user interfaces, logos turned to shit with overkill corporate minimalist art after 2012. Or you can hear teens blasting shit zoomer rap, drill or reggaeton with broccoli hair when you go out. These were not a thing in 2000s. It's all about zeitgeist, what is popular and condition of society, not you. In 2000s big companies and people had a taste, now they aren't.
