can anyone explain the discrepancy(real price in greece for items in stock is 60 euros since lidl plus offer lasted for 3 days) of 14 euros in their country?
>>212878094 (OP) I don't know but I bought some 50% reduced scottish mussels in lidl this evening but scanned the original barcode by mistake and paid full price
>>212878238 reminder! the odds of mistakes are always stacked against the customer, the house always wins , steal and shoplift whenever you can from lidl and other big grocery store chains
>>212882059 It's because Germans raise prices outside of Germany to make up for keeping prices low in their own country, that's why they always try to get rid of local competition. First they offer really low prices to drive other store chains to bankrupcy, then buy them up and then they raise prices. It's the same in Poland and any other country in Europe where German supermarket chains dominate
>>212878094 (OP) Top one is in pounds but that still doesn't make up the difference so I dunno. It could be that they're trying to push a different product or availability issues or just whatever else entirely, especially with imported products like that it's hard to know. You could call lidl and ask them I guess and look into buying a different toaster.
maybe we need to start building factories here instead of importing from hundreds of miles away? so that we stop wasting money on overpaid truck drivers and overpriced gasoline? greece being enslaved as usual
>>212878094 (OP) 46*19/1.2*1.24=47.73 50-47.73=2.27 2.27 EUR more for transport csts from uk to greece (silvercrest has a american contact details so it comes from the west and uk is closer than greece) pay debts
>>212878094 (OP) Because they can. Mabye the market for toasters in the UK is more competitive or there is more demand for toasters in Greece

>>212888652 the real permanent price of the items stock is 60euros stop defending commerce practices that abrogate EU laws, disband you entire money laundering country
>>212889434 It's common practice in Greece to have items """on sale""" for 8 months a year. Whether for good or bad it is how consumers here are conditioned. And anyway a 20% difference in price isn't that unusual. It could be a ton of reasons for it, if Greece has any locally made toasters they're probably cheaper, that's how it usually goes.
>>212889809 they removed it from the site like they do every thursday but all the toasters are still there in physical formed stacked on the shelf not a single one has been bought due to the exorbitant prices
for starters, my dear koulidiot, the 3 day lidl plus discount is a fake discount, considering the units default prices anywhere else in europe are between 39-49 euros

>>212895610 i think i realize what they are doing, its the cartel..... i just checked vicko and skatenitis/the mart, kotsovolos, public, who are the main retailers of such products and the equivalent izzy/benroubi ,margarit products are all around 55-70euros
the game is rigged from the start.....how convenient that lidls price happens to be exactly the same as that of the cheapest available equivalent product
