Is passive listening okay at my level? (I know kana and started both grammar and Kaishi 1.5k about a week ago)
I usually have something playing in the background while doing other stuff, I figure it doesn’t hurt since I’m getting used to how Japanese sounds(?)
I'm doing immersion too but it's still hard with my low vocab knowledge

What does it mean for something to be worth it? I've spent at least a few thousand hours having fun. I suppose that's worth it. I'm not looking for a job in Japan.
My learning now is just doing anki in the morning and enjoying japanese media for fun (same as how most of us learned English, we just did things).
