Maybe 1% of burglary alarms are real (you get a that at around 5 am and you know, its the deliveryman just running into the shop) so its paying 200-300 bucks for the police intervention vs 100 bucks for security company interventions
Fire is mostly handled by calling the fire department directly
Sometimes there are employees living right next to the company so they are called first to check out if its real etc.
