My manager at my old company had this flag as her LinkedIn background pic. She ended up reporting me to HR after she assigned me one of her tasks that was already overdue (should have been sent to a client a week ago), and me, not having the experience, was not able to perform. Guarantee you she saw me as “one of those white males” who is potentially taking a job from a PoC, and she felt like she’s doing her part to get me out so that the marginalized can take my place
