Just get a rice cooker, it's such a simple machine
Water boils at 100c
Anything in the water will be at 100c while water is boiling
A certain amount of rice + a certain amount of water + a certain amount of time = well cooked rice 100% of the time
the rice cooker takes care of the time, they tell you how much rice and water to add

https://www.recipetineats.com/how-to-cook-jasmine-rice/
I've used both and they work and are easy to follow.
it's not as good as restaurant asian rice but like 70% or 80% as good

It's not that hard to just boil it in water on the stove.

It's funny. My mom, decades ago, used to have a Japanese friend, a woman named Midori. Apparently she thought my mom was being purist or hardcore for making rice manually instead of using a rice cooker.

Take one thing to measure rice with. a cup, a glass, a jar, a bucket...

Fill that measure with water two times

Add the water to a pot and bring it to a boil. Add salt to the water. Taste the water, it should be a little salty. Add some type of fat, oil, butter, dick cheese, whatever.

When the water boils, you add one measure of rice. And mix.

Let it cook on medium low without the lid.

When the water evaporates completely, turn the heat off and cover. Wait about 10 minutes.

Wala.

Bros I have a question. I have a rice cooker and it's pretty handy, but how the fuck do i deal with the foam that piles up and starts dripping out of the cooker, and also mushes the fuck out of the rice. How exactly do you "wash" rice properly? I do it all the time but, sometimes it's successful, sometimes it still foams. And i rinse that bitch at least 4 times, 1 minute each.
