for me it's not a fear of getting a job, but interviews suck
Why can't this shit be streamlined

That's the junior exp. As soon as you've done a year or two they'll bend over backwards to keep you the moment you tell them you've got another offer

I'm coping with entry-level unemployment with working on my own firm.
But every minute I work on it, I realize people know that I'm coping hard to fill my employment gap

Funniest thing is that I get more disabilitybux now, than I would earn at that entry-level job

Kek for real its like 600 layers of bullshit to get a job that a retard could do with ease
Even really shitty jobs are becoming like this. I had to go through a month of classes (was getting paid to attend but still) to get a factory monkey job pressing a button
I feel like when all of society is running like this it has to be inefficient

i'm an old fuck. This is how I got my job 20 years ago.
>be 18
>no education except high school (construction line)
>decide I wanna move out so I needed money
>checked the local ads for open positions
>"entry level job: carpentry aid and assistant, great job for getting into bla bla bla"
>call the number
>"hello?"
>I would like to apply for the job
>"ok good, I need your details and can you come to an interview on Monday next week?"
>yes
>"ok good, see you then"
>go to interview, some temporary baracks in a construction zone
>older beer belly man greets me
>"so you are here for the entry job?"
>yep
>"ok good"
>interview takes 10 minutes, he takes me into the back and introduced me to another man
>"this is the man you will be working with if you get the position"
>ok
>"please do what he says and we'll talk after"
>other man tells me to cut him some boards, struts and other stuff
>do it. same crap I did in high school
>"mhm, that's enough, lets talk to the boss"
>go back
>"he did fine,I'll take him"
>"ok good, lets get the papers done"

And that was it. Took maybe an hour in total. Signed the contract, went to work the next week.
