残念ながらその恐怖心は無理でもない。
1980年代から1990年代にかけて日本はそれをアメリカの手で食わされていた。
アメリカは所詮世界一のいじめっ子だ。毎年毎年駄々を捏ねている。その愚かな国民は何も知らずに何も構わずに人の人生を崩したがっている。外国人だけではない、アメリカ自体の国民に向けても応援している。
今のうちに(民はそう欲しがっていたら?)アメリカを喜ばせてだけではなく、他の国ともっと強い関係を作った方がいいと思うんだけど...

アメリカにとってブラジルは貿易黒字国

つまりブラジルに商品を売ることによってアメリカはお金をもうけている(得をしている)状況なのに、
アメリカがブラジルとの貿易の規模を縮小するような政策を行うのは、
自分で自分の首を絞めるようなものだ。

アメリカが外国に対して強硬な姿勢をとることで、「強いアメリカ」の印象をアメリカ国民に与えて、アメリカ国内での支持を得ようとしているだけのように思う。

だから実際には多分過度な関税はかけない、またはすぐに撤回するんじゃないかな。だってそんなことをして経済的に損をするのはアメリカ側なのだから。

In other words, the US is profiting by selling goods to Brazil, so the US implementing policies that would reduce the scale of trade with Brazil is like cutting its own throat.
I think the US is just trying to gain domestic support by pretending to take a hard line against foreign countries, projecting an image of "strong America" to American people.
Therefore, I suspect that excessive tariffs will not be imposed, or if they are, they will be quickly withdrawn. After all, it is the United States that would suffer economically from such actions.

因みに、一つ聞いてもいい?
熊猫という言葉を聞いたことある?
一度だけ聞いたことあってそんなに珍しいかなと考え込んで調べたかった。「パンダ」は普通に使っても皆が熊猫を知っているかなと思って気になって日本人直々に聞きたいんですが

中国から可愛い言葉、熊猫だ。ちょっと使いたくなったけど不自然すぎたらもちろん使いたくないですね。まあ、皆知っていても珍しいので多分使わない方がいいけど可愛いなああ。。。

例えばpicrelは「ちゃお」というJC向けの雑誌のマンガだけど、「熊猫=パンダ」だと読者が知っている、または「熊猫=パンダ」だと見当がつくことが想定されている。

もしトランプ氏がこのまま撤回すれば、アメリカに対して意見が動揺するので関税はその程度で続き、むしろ追加させる可能性はない訳がないと思う。(自分の推理)
アメリカはそもそも自分の国民にひどい損をさせる国だし(馬鹿な戦争へ行かせるまで)、そしてニューヨーク市だけのGDPはブラジル全体のGDPを超えるゆえにこれからは祈るしかないと思うな( ;∀;)
まあ政府が元大統領ボルソナーロの逮捕をやめたら多分元の状況になれるかもしれない

I came to DJT for the first time in a while.
I know talking politics is pretty sensitive and inappropriate for a language learning thread like DJT, but let me say this.
As a matter of fact, I didn't go vote since I had no idea which political party was the best choice for me.

I'm embarassed to say I have never voted in my life, but I plan to do so this year. In my own country naturally.

It feels difficult to break into learning about foreign countries' politics. There are often a lot of parties, tons of various problems to build an understanding of that is very hard without having grown up and worked there, and foreign cultures tends to have very unique problems to solve.

Not to mention the absurd amount of finance and political terms one needs to learn to really be considered an informed person.

Fortunately most people don't really want to hear foreigner's opinions on politics so it's enough for us to just vaguely understand what you are talking about and trying to learn more about all the various viewpoints in the country and the life they led that made them come to those conclusions (or which news sources they are just 受け売り).
