Yes, though I've moved to (mostly) fanfiction about 7-8 years ago. While quality can vary, I've seen a decent amount of fics that are good quality, and it doesn't hurt that I can find stuff that also caters to whatever hyperfixations I have.
I do still read books when I go outside though.

I like Thucydides far more than Herodotus. I found he was too off track, outside of Egypt and the Scythians i just didn't like it that much.
