sane moderates: walmarts and mcdonalds provide sensible prices for household goods and food respectively, which could be a huge quality of life upgrade for the local mexican population.

It has no water. None. It is not habitable.

It's a large desert with some mines and pits where toxic waste is buried. We pay mexicans to do this. Also there is fishing, but not a lot because we made the water toxic. It is a big sterile desert surrounded by saltwater.

Ever been to Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria or Western Sahara? It's like that but without Islam, infrastructure, history or people. There's just nothing. It is a big nothing.

Literally the only reason to drive to Baja is to dump an entire trailer of toxic waste into the designated toxic waste pits there. The entire place is a big landfill like Tijuana, but since there's no people nobody can complain when narcos/military sell the land into gringo landfills. There is literally nothing outside the two tourist colonies, which have their own airports. It's like a discount cancun, which means the women aren't nearly as good and there's poor people everywhere begging (these people are removed to their districts in the better tourist towns). Tijuana can't even afford their own airport they share it with San Diego. San Diego also owns the only train (single) and most of the track is destroyed because it's Mexico and everything there is destroyed, except the roads used by American garbage trucks. You can sit on the side of the road and watch them all drive in convoys to the dump pits and incinerators. This is how this region of Mexico makes their money, and all the money is American.

I don't think Baja has a single bank anyway lol. They sure as hell don't have cell service. This is a lot like Alaska, Puerto Rico or Iraq where you have to use radios to do anything useful.
