I had good food when I was in London. IDK why people shit on British food, Britain adapts food from around the world just like we do in USA. I also like the English breakfast.
While in Italy, you pretty much just have Italian food.

I've been to the UK and I still don't know what food they eat there
Unironically the best food I had there was an Indian restaurant lol
British food as a category is perfectly fine and in fact I like savory pie, ploughman sandwich, fried fish etc.
However.....British food as in, food cooked in the UK is quite bad. I been to UK and it is bad. Canadian food is about the same as American, Australian and Dutch food is better, British food (food cooked by Brits) is bad.

a culturally/historically illiterate yank? unheard of
curry houses have been on the decline for decades, they peaked 30-40 years ago and have been struggling since globohomo introduced food from every other part of the world

North Euro food tends to shine the best with confectionaries/desserts. I really enjoy Victorian jam cakes.
It's main courses where it falters.

I tried scones with clotted cream and jam and it was one of the best things I've ever had in my life. The lady working in the bakery even told me how to make clotted cream at home.
It's not exact but it does get pretty close.

I think amerimutts are the only one having problem with english foods in the first place so i dont think its gonna be more more popular than it already is outside the US
>>212979949 >knickerbocker glory
Huh? I always thought Knickerbocker referred to residents of New York (particularly Manhattan) - hence, the New York Knicks basketball team

oh yeah I ated it and found it good >sandwich
If by sandwhich you mean picrel then I have never ate one like that. I have only eaten grilled cheeses with this kind of bread.
If under sandwich you include hamburgers and grilled cheese then I have ated both of those and found it good
Though usually the sandwiches I make consist in these small Brazilian baguettes filled with random stuff I have on the fridge
How is "fried fish with chips on the side" a British thing? Anyone can come up with that, it is eaten everywhere and I doubt people copied it from somewhere else. Or am I missing something and is it a special kind of fish?

I like their taste a lot. They don't taste like normal bread at all, I don't know how to describe it. The most I can say is thay they are savory tasting and mildly sour, the crust is crips and the crumb is very chewy. I like putting requeijão (a kind of dairy-based cream we have in 'zil. I think the closest thing to you could maybe be cream cheese, but I'm not sure as I never ate it) on my pão de queijo. Occasionally I slice them in half them put some ham and requeijão inside to eat as if they were micro burgers.

colonial era Americans came with British food, but ditched it for both Native American food and immigrant food because both were much tastier

Full English and fish and chips are the only ones that belong in God tier. Sunday roast could belong but most people do not know how to cook it for shit. Putting yorkshire pudding as it's own thing is retarded.
Cottage pie is garbage tier and no where near as good as shepherds pie.
Tikka masala belongs in God tier if we are including it as an English dish.
