You either drop one of the consonants, and now people pronounce it "suboy" or they pronounce it fully but there's a glottal stop in the middle and there's an audible pause in between the sub and the boy. Never had subway, is it good? Wish we had sandwich culture here but it is just a few bakeries selling really basic sandwiches here and there for a really high price.
