As i said, its very impersonal in nature. Its nothing about "nordics" as a people, or a society, or a culture, or historical entity that they celebrate. Its just that they admit these cosmopolitan vakues on paper and make their socialdemocracy work for the ads.

But germanic nationalism in the context of 20th century involved also a glorificaiton of the Poetic Edda, of nordics in general, of ancient germanic culture and their aestethics, of their religious figures, and then of the late antiquity and early medieval germanic tribes which would ultimately come across as nordics in a racial sense.
Nordicism was also much less of a tacit recognition of nordics in scandinavia as it was a recognition of a race not necessarily located anywhere, of which scandinavians were seen as the most primeval representatives avaliable.
