In 2020 a study found that only 6% of U.S. adults could be considered Christian, and I really doubt that the majority of people in every single state changed their entire worldview in 6 years.

I can only concede that the majority of Americans identify as Christian, but that's about as meaningful as the majority of Americans identifying as millionaires. Self ID doesn't matter. The average American probably does not know what a Christian is and most of them have barely read the Bible. More than half of all Americans have read "little or none" of the Bible and obviously they are literate and they could, they just don't want to because they don't care.
Anyway, I am curious. What do you think a Christian is?
