every single meaningful development in AI over the past decade or so has been made by a chink or (less frequently for actually meaningful research) jeet, because they're the only people staffing top-level research institutions in the US and China.

besides maybe ETH and EPFL there just aren't any institutions where white people do science left, and even those are mostly chinks/jeets nowadays. best you'll get anywhere else is the occasional slav/jew name as third author.

No one reads anymore.

The major technology breakthroughs in human society coincided with the rise of industrial capitalism in the european-settler colonial nations.

But capitalism in this day and age is an old decrepit system. It can no longer innovate. This is fundamental reason why there are no more major breakthroughs compared to the XVIII - XIX centuries.

However, even a sickly and decrepit person can still have episodes where bursts of energy seem to rush all throughout his body, likewise, a decrepit and old system like capitalism, can still have cycles of super industrialization like during the post WW2 period.
