No, but he paid his debt to society and didn't do anything wrong after the war ended. Plus he was born into his position, and his crime wasn't initiating the war, but being too weak-willed to stop it despite having the power to do so.

Soldiers acting against orders did, the high command backed them up once the fighting started and it looked like Japan was winning, and anyone actually capable of and interested in stopping them had been assassinated over the course of the 1930s
