Piped gas is quite uncommon for the average Brazilian..I lived in a building that had it. It was very convenient and pleasant. But infrastructure is slow in medium to small towns so most people will get a gas tank once typically.

We have those big red tanks that last pretty long, they have the connection sideways, so easyer to attach, all you need is a wrench

Can't say I do. Gas stoves are only used in professional kitchens here so I've always assumed the gas tanks are similar to those of a gas grill, which are easy to install and use.

Same here.

In the countryside it used to be common as the heating ran on oil and the stove on gas with one of those tanks, now it's usually one big underground gas tank for both, filled by a truck a couple of times a year.
