I'm not gonna argue with you. Just know that the countries that i listed also do exactly what the EU demands without even being members. That's how preferable it is to be part of the EU umbrella over sitting across the desk from countries like China all on your own when you're a country of 10 million people and a gdp of half a trillion or some such. The prices we fetch for goods and services while being so small isn't normal. Keep that in consideration. What's normal in yearly incomes of 10k a year and jumping through hoops to sell milk for pennies on the dollar to firsties

They are already EFTA and EEA, they already don't decide shit. I'd say joining would make sense for them. It's a tiny nation though, smaller than Malta in population; dunno how well that would work.

I think you would be welcome. I've read the plan is to give it a few years of discourse before deciding if you want to start the accession process. That's smart, even if you are already quite integrated in the European political structure, becoming a full member is a big step. What's your opinion on it?
