>>213062555 (OP)MAHA is a health movement for lazy people who want to continue eating shit food and not exercising. Rather than blaming people for being unhealthy, the blame is placed on corporations for using the wrong ingredients. Its strikingly similar to leftists who will claim that people are obese because of corporations and/or food deserts.
The basic tenants are:
-Its okay to eat french fries because now its fried in beef tallow rather than vegetable oil
-Its okay to drink soda because it now uses cane sugar rather than HFCS
-Its okay to eat Doritos because now it doesn't use Red 40.
They'll probably turn to GMOs and cattle implants next, though thankfully they'll face more resistance from the agricultural industry there at least.
Of course, these additives have little to no effect and there's no evidence they cause any health issues. They believe that people are not responsible for their own health, and instead we're being 'poisoned' by corporations with food additives. There's a deference to 'what is natural is healthy', even though there is no evidence that Red 40 is harmful, its unnatural, therefore its bad.
