>>213081141>Not ethnically, no, but England and Britain are my countries by nationality and culture.Nation comes from the word natio meaning birth, i.e. people of a shared birth. It's the same word as ethnos (ethnicity) in a different language. A nation = an ethnicity = a people.
So saying that you're not Ethnically English but English by nationality doesn't make sense.
Why is England called that? Because it's the LAND where the ENGLISH people live , not the other way around. Meaning that the concept of being English, exists prior to the concept of England. And furthermore simply being born in England doesn't make you English, anymore than an Englishman born in the Punjab 200 years ago was Punjabi.
>but my passport! Your representatives have said that I'm British Our representatives our traitors hence their immigration policies, but disregarding that, What does your passport say? It says you're "British" , not English.
So even if you were British according to the laws of our traitor regime, you would still not be English
Also, let's be honest. Your culture is not British or English. The only way that would be the case is if you were adopted and raised from infancy by indigenous British parents. Your African parents certainly passed on their African culture to you. Even if they wanted not to they still did. So the way you think is different from an indigenous Brit, your sense of identity, your loyalty and sense of in-group, your norms and attachments and preferences. If I were blindfolded and only able to ask questions about how you and your family behaved (i.e. you culture) , nothing about your appearance, I could pick out your african family from indigenous British families 100% of the time.
You might have been significantly influenced by English or British culture but you still are not assimilated, your culture is easily distinguishable and noticeably different from the distribution of indigenous British culture.
