>>213103045 (OP)Every region is essentially Portuguese heritage + something. Our food is 90% Portuguese or mixed, our festivals are 90% Portuguese or mixed, 90% of our people have a lot of Portuguese blood.
But due to our shitty education and leftism for so long, some people hate Portugal now (yet they are the first one to travel there).
The South is the exception I think, because even though they are still mixed with Portuguese, they pay more respect to their Italian, German, Polish, etc., heritage since it's more recent, and I guess more important part of their history. To a certain extent, but not similar intensity, the same happens in the Northern region and their indigenous heritage (although its minimal in most people), and Bahia and their mostly african-brazilian population (which is also a meme since most are still pardos)
