Jap products are falling off. I personally think thats another consequence of the aging of their society. They have no young people left to re invent themselves. All they can do now is destroy what they built with boomer suicidal rage. See Nintendo
However I still want to get a Subaru. One day I shall afford one (God willing)

They still make a lot of stuff but they moved from cheap consumer electronics to industrial machinery, advanced components and specialized materials.
They can't really compete with China or even Korean on phones or some shit anymore, they're filling other niches where Japanese quality and expertise is still in high demand.

>still make stuff?
I think there's still a demand for chemicals to make electronics.
Its accuracy can be used to make military weapons.

In 2019, for example, South Korea was found to have smuggled Japanese goods to other countries.
For this reason, Japan downgraded Korea's favorable export system equivalent to the G7.
This led to massive protests in South Korea, and the South Korean government led the No Japan Campaign.
However, thanks to this, North Korea's missile tests were stopped and Iran's nuclear development was restrained.
In 2023, however, under pressure from the United States, Japan resumed its favorable export system to South Korea.

If there is no racial conflict, I think derogatory terms will be used more and more publicly.
