Some are. Some even have the latinx admixture and speak Spanish, but it's only like one or two cities and maybe a few surrounding towns.
But there's some latinx cultural influence here and there overall.

My gf is from the Philippines and she seems more Latina than Asian. But really it's just a mutt country.I have no idea what an ethnic flip is supposed to be. So many different groups have been spreading their seed in the region and it has been going on for a long time. Some of them seem South Asian, some of them seem East Asian, some of them could even pass for white.

A lof of them legitimately descend from Latin Americans. Mainly, Mexican colonists which the Spanish sent to them.

They are the only Asians with Latin American ancestry

Culturally most of us are, but genetically we're much closer to chinks.

Maybe in the west, sure. Those types are super rare here. Vast majority of us are brown.

Latinos are second worlders at this point. What's considered everyday life here will be considered barbaric and archaic by latinos so no, we have nothing in common.
