In Latin American logic, North and South America are one continent because they're connected, but Africa, Asia, and Europe are still three continents despite being connected.
Anonymous Brazil No.213390943

America in a name in honor of Amerigo Vespuci. Amerigo Vespuci described Brazil's continent in his works.

If you want to be seen as a different continent then find another name for the north. If we used the terminology North Europe and South Europe anyone would think they are both Europe and therefore part of the same concept, that's obvious

>In Latin American logic, North and South America are one continent because they're connected
because both had their populations removed and replaced by euros and afros*

But why isn't it a part of Asia.
Anonymous United States No.213391807 >>213392243

Because it's on a different continental plate, it's separated from Asia by deep water, and it has its own unique ecology

Anonymous Argentina No.213391901
That is not in latin american logic, that's in Spanish and Portuguese language logic, also saying Oceania instead of Australia. Other languages might do the same
Anonymous Sweden No.213391923
In Swedish there's världsdelar (world-parts), which are Europe, Asia, North/South American, etc., and kontinenter, which are continents as in landmasses.
Anonymous United States No.213391939
Yes
Anonymous Canada No.213392243

So how come we don't divide by continental plates
Anonymous Brazil No.213392341 >>213392554

Not only in Latin America. In Brazil we also know for a fact that America is a continent

Then explain why you think Europe is separate from Asia.
