I made these flags for my Mars sandbox game, what do you think?
Game is set in 2048 on Mars. These are underground societies on a planet controlled by a mega corporation (food rations, forced labor, etc).

Lately I’ve been bored, so I’m trying to get into Godot, reading the documentation and making sample projects. I did consider Unity briefly, but Godot felt more basic, and since I don’t plan on making anything serious, I went with it.

Oh there's demo.
I'm on Linux, but I gave it a quick spin to see if it would get in-game via Proton, and it does, but the AI pathfinding seems to break. Later, when I boot into Windows, I'll give it a proper test.

yeah demo is really broken, I hope I can get it better in the next few weeks, there's not much game loop structure right now and lots of bugs. I would recommend wishlisting it and waiting until demo is better. Thanks for letting me now Proton works.

No worries, I actually didn’t expect it to even get in-game on Linux. I was just messing around.
If I have any feedback, I give it when playing natively on Windows.

Small side note. One thing that what caught my attention was the UI, especially the main HUD, it looks very polished. I don't know if you will keep it or not, but I really like this aliased look on it, I think it vibes really well with the cel-shaded surreal graphics. I assume you're using vectors for the HUD instead of pre-made raster images/sprites?

Thanks. I will keep it something like this, it's actually pixel raster graphics I make in Asesprite, most icons are 64x64px.

Oh, very nice. It looked so sharp I assumed it was a vector (with forced alias).
I'm not a game dev, let alone an artist, but I work developing applications for desktop, and frontend is my specialty, so I'm a sucker for GUIs in general.

It's not fleshed out yet but it's gonna be an aggressive Russia-Ukranian mix with Soviet influences. Vodka and anti-gay policies (there's reproduction and sexuality in the game, no porn).
