That’s not how language or history works.
Just because Korean uses the English-derived word shirt doesn’t mean shirts didn’t exist.

Traditional Korean clothing like jeogori served the same function long before Western contact. it’s just a different design. so If you were to translate Jeogori, it could be translated as Korean shirt.

It's a small but significant difference. Their meanings are similar, but using "maybe" instead of "probably" (or vice-versa) can greatly change the meaning of a sentence.
