I’m a wagie, though I work remotely. but there is a good chance I’ll be laid off later this year or early next year. my department is slowly being outsourced to Argentina. I’ve been told they can pay people there a third of what they’re paying us. I’m 41 now and make 105k before taxes. I very likely won’t be able to find another job because I have no real transferable skills.
