>The average rent in California varies by unit size, but generally ranges from $1,855 for a studio to $3,305 or more
Meanwhile I only pay $750. For a modern apartment in a new building, floor heating in every room, triple-pane windows and thick reinforced concrete walls. It's the ultimate of noise and thermal insulation.
And my healthcare is free. And I don't work in a fastfood place having to tardwrangle drug junkies

let me add:
Not only is my healthcare free, my college was too. I've got a master degree completely debt-free, while the average American doing the same thing would be at like $200,000 debt now and struggle to pay off even the interest.
Meanwhile I have spare money to invest into the S&P 500 among others, meaning my cash multiplies thanks to the American economy system that the fastfood manager helps to maintain.
