I cry. Even in public.

I have had 8 sexual partners and have a current GF. I am an emotional man and that is OK. I will teach my kid that expressing emotion is OK.

it is. im not carrying my dads coffin down the churcway to his grave crying like a bitch? its kinda ok to do it before and after but its where you show your strength and honor, you just do it. i already done it to some of my granparents, none of the actual sons and daughters of them cried doing it and so wont i.
and i been to burials of fathers buying sons, they didnt cry carrying the coffin. that parade is one where you show what you are made off, 8 guys carrying a coffin to its grave with a single voice song in the background. and it is actually completely ok to say i cant do it and ask someone else to do it for you, that part is ok.
usually done to this music in my region.

We are now, but I still find it difficult to show emotion in front of anyone.
My stepdad is actually worried about my mental state. My mom died a while back, and I don't think I shed a single tear talking with him about it until we'd demo'd a 40 of tequila and got halfway through a bottle of high proof rye with some sazeracs. I made it really clear I was worried about his well being, and trying to put myself in his shoes was killing me... "What about you? Your mom just died. I've obviously been through that. It's fucking shit." "What about me? I'll be fine, it's all I know how to do. Kind of like the only way I know how to provide comfort is with chemical vices."

But, yes. Yes we are.

The question...
>How are you holding it together?
I've got a job to do. These lads are relying on me to hold up my end.
When the box is in the ground, and I'm sure that I can let my guard down, then I'll cry.

never cry in front of a woman, ever. if they say stuff like they like men showing vulnerability they're full of shit and you lose respect in an instant the second you do this

you can show emotions to your bros, at least in my cunt. but keep it at this
here it's became a thing among progressive women that they like men displaying open emotions
what women want and what they say they want are very different

I showed vulnerability to my GF while she was having a BPD episode, she made it up to me with a freshly cooked feel, sweetly enough.
This is what going outside to get some sun, touching some grass, and dialing eight on your telephones does my fellow anonians.

By not feeling them. You grow out of it by your mid 20s, or you become heavily insecure and project. People sense this and it is unattractive.

It's like how overtly homophobic people are often coping with some form of sexual repression. Shame is for criminals or those who sin not for people who experience human emotions.

>I showed vulnerability to my GF while she was having a BPD episode, she made it up to me with a freshly cooked feel, sweetly enough.
strange, would expect the inverse reaction
from my experience BPD girls crave emotionally stable men, they want their man to be a rock to lean on. vulnerable men aren't usual material for BPD whores, rather cougars and frigid narcissists to manipulate

>what women want and what they say they want are very different
Don't I fucking know it...
I gave up on even thinking this way when I was in highschool. Bitches be triflin' and no amount of blood, sweat, or tears will change that. I'm not prone to moments of laconic depth often, but chatting with a decent looking chubby mommy at a pub (I'd been frequenting since I was 15) on my 19th birthday...
>What do you mean you don't have a girlfriend to keep an eye on you? Don't take this the wrong way, but I can't tell if you mean that you're married or gay.
>I move at my own pace. Nobody's cared to keep up lately.
And so we got trashed on absinthe at my place, and she cried in my arms for a bit before passing out. Probably better than what the sex might have been.

It's a mix of shame and fear. Very much "I know better. Get it together and keep moving."

Well, to be fair, I do come off normally as stoic but she was really pressing on a really soft spot of mine, emotionally that is, when she was experiencing a split.
I fit the criteria for most of her physical preferences and I do give her a lot of grace. Shit still sucked though.
