The only thing that happened is political bipolarity. 90% of Brazilians who emigrate do so because of political disagreement.
Even so, we receive more immigrants than we send Brazilians abroad.
All social and econometric indicators point to an improvement in Brazil. From consumer power to unemployment rates and per capita income...

According to OECD data, around 3.8 million German citizens live outside Germany in other countries.
Considering Germany's estimated population of around 83 million (2024/2025), this figure corresponds to approximately 4.6% of the German population.

It is estimated that there are between 4.4 and 4.9 million Brazilians living outside Brazil, with numbers approaching 5 million in 2023/2024.
Based on a Brazilian population of approximately 215 million in 2024, this contingent corresponds to about 2 to 2.3% of Brazil's total population.
